CURRICULUM/COMMUNITY DAYS

At Mawsley, we love to involve the community in our learning. Throughout the year, we love to invite different members of the community in to our school to share our fantastic work. In the past we have organised; Grandparents Day, Careers Day, Community Art Exhibitions, Remembrance Day and Writing Days. Click on the following links for information about our most recent curriculum/community days.

Easter Bonnets 2021

It’s that time of year again when Foundation Stage and Key Stage One are getting excited to celebrate Easter with a bonnet parade. Unfortunately this year due to covid 19 and restrictions that are in place this cannot happen in the usual way. This year we asked for the children to get their creative minds flowing and make an Easter bonnet at home that can be brought into school so that the children can share their creations with their friends.

World Book Day 2020

What an amazing and engaging World Book Day we all had yesterday! This year’s World Book Day was based on the theme: ‘Share a Story’, which gave us a great purpose for promoting reading for pleasure – for children and staff.

Mawsley Bake Off 2020

What a fabulous week of creativity, inspiration and excellence we have had this week at Mawsley Primary School. Children have shown their abilities to put their DT learning to practise by designing and making some fabulous cakes.

The bake sale at the end of the day raised an astounding £275! Thank you so much to everyone who supported the bake sale.
