If you think this sounds like what you are looking for we have the following vacancies:

  •  a Maternity cover 16.5 hours (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) teaching in Years 1 and 2 or Year 3 and 4 (1st October would be considered)

Our school is able to be a safe and stimulating place to learn, due to our commitment to safeguarding, which everyone contributes to, through our community of trained staff. We are looking for somebody who can support our stringent efforts to ensure every member of our school community is kept safe from harm.

Our quality first teaching is driven by challenge for all, enabling our children to achieve their personal best, whether that be academically or through their sporting endeavours. We cleverly underpin our teaching with reading across the curriculum, which is embedded within a consistent and successful lesson structure across our school.

We are proud to offer a creative approach to teaching at Mawsley School, that keeps learning exciting. Offering a wide range of exciting enrichment opportunities and expert visitors within our school, which include such events as Careers Day, Grandparents Day, Keep Me Happy / Healthy / Safe days, this encapsulates our community driven ethos.

Our dedicated half termly Weeks of Wonder enable us to focus specifically on the arts: DT, Art and Music, enabling children to artistically flourish. This relates directly to our termly topics that are taught through our alternate History and Geography themes and a ‘Create’ theme, based on children’s current interest / significant world events.

Children at Mawsley enjoy coming to school and make the job of teaching every day fulfilling and always different! This quote from a parent survey sums us up beautifully:

‘Friendly, welcoming atmosphere, the school feels more of a family than a school. The teachers are brilliant with the children and always have a positive approach’.
