Our World Team oversee the teaching, learning and curriculum for French, Geography, History, RE, Music and Science. Each subject’s long term plan is built to be progressive, enabling our children to build knowledge. Choices of places and people studied are made carefully to promote our school drivers of Community, Diversity and Growth. Lesson power-ups develop critical thinking skills. These are evident in Geography, History and Science providing children with the opportunity to build knowledge. Memory moments encourage children to recall information. Vocabulary development is important in our curriculum and an overview of the key vocabulary is considered and planned for in each medium-term plan.
