Sport and physical activity are central to our school’s ethos, helping our children build confidence, resilience, teamwork and a lifelong love of being active. We include our Hub children in our mainstream lessons too - we found this is great way to integrate them into whole-school activities. This year, we proudly celebrated the Women’s Rugby World Cup by welcoming England 7s captain Abby Brown, who inspired the pupils with her journey and passion for the sport. We also partnered with Northampton Saints for a full day dedicated to rugby, where children took part in skills sessions and learned about the successes and visibility of women in sport. These experiences reflect our commitment to promoting active lifestyles and ensuring that all children see sport as an inclusive, empowering and exciting part of school life.
Our annual Sports Day is a great example of how our Young Leaders develop their leadership skills, helping to run the entire day for the entire school!
