OUTDOOR LEARNING

On Friday 29th September 2017, Year 5 went on a woodland ramble, to discover what kind of autumn fruits and seeds were growing in our woodland in Mawsley. The children climbed a ladder to pick apples and also collected different kinds of coloured leaves and autumn materials to be used in an Andy Goldsworthy inspired piece of wild art. This work will all go towards our target of achieving the Schools Green Award from the Woodland Trust. The children had lots of fun and the fruit they gathered will be used to make delicious apple and cinnamon muffins in school.
